It was a bright summer morning, one of those that make you want to go out and play all day. And it was every kid's favorite morning. It was the last day of school. I woke up really early, picked up Bob and ran off to school. Everyone was there, teachers, students, even some parents. And everyone had the widest smile on their faces. Bob and I weren't very popular, so very few people came to ask us about our summer plans, or about the school year that is about to come. But one of those few people was Mary - Helen. You know her kind, the pretty, tall, blonde girl, that everyone has a crush on and everytime she speaks to you, you think your heart is beating so hard that the whole school would hear.
- Good morning Damian, she said
- Oh, good morning Mary - Helen, how are you?
- I'm really fine. Can you believe that school is finally over?
- N..no! So, how are you going to spend your summer?
And right at the moment i was going to learn about her plans - which i was hoping i could make my plans also, someone called her name and the only thing she said was:
- I can't talk right now, I'll catch up with you another time. Bye Damian. Bye Bob.
I mummbled bye and watched her as she hugged a rather tall, handsome guy.
- That kind of girl, Bob, is way out of our league!
- We have a league?
